During the course of their studies, Mount Ida College Veterinary Technology students have the opportunity to gain valuable hands on experience with a wide range of animal species. In the laboratory sections, students are taught the necessary skills that will be utilized throughout their careers. Some of these tasks include restraint, handling, blood collection, injections, physical exams and more.
