Safety information and statistics

Another important component of public safety at Mount Ida is reporting. Each year, our Office of Public Safety, in partnership with the Office of Student Affairs, publishes our annual security and fire safety report.

Federally mandated by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure Act, the report includes important safety information and crime statistics from the previous three calendar years. Criminal statistics in the report are collected, compiled and reported by our Office of Public Safety. For more information on criminal offense definitions, visit the Clery Center.

If you are a prospective student, parent or member of the Mount Ida community, we recommend you review the report. The college also distributes this report annually to all current students and employees through a number of channels and to prospective students and employee candidates upon request.

Please note that the Clery Act is constantly under review and revision. To get the latest information, we recommend you visit the Clery Center website.
