Our Academic Services team is here to help you achieve success throughout your college career. Choose from these academic support services and programs:



Academic Success Center: is open daily each semester to all Mount Ida students. Professional and peer tutors provide you free tutoring in a supportive environment, where you can get assistance with assignments and strengthen study skills and strategies for effective test-taking.

Writing Center: Mount Ida College Writing Center provides free tutoring to improve your writing skills – no matter your chosen academic major or degree program. Writing a lab report or research paper? Stop by the Writing Center. Learn more.

Services for Students with Disabilities: Mount Ida College provides a variety of academic support services and other help to students with documented disabilities. Individual support may include tutoring, classroom accommodations, testing modifications and assistive technology.

Student Achievement Program (SAP): The Student Achievement Program (SAP) is a fee-for-service program that offers students the opportunity to develop essential skills to support successful learning.  Students who join the SAP program have an assigned learning specialist who works with them one-on-one and in small groups to build on strengths, identify strategies, and establish a clear pathway to achievement in their major field of study.
