Student Life at Mount Ida College

Mount Ida College is a vibrant and close-knit community of approximately 1,500 students.  Over 60 percent of our students live on campus in one of our five residence halls, and the remainder commute from off campus housing or home.  Students who maximize their experience engage on campus and off by connecting with the services and programs from our eight Division of Student Affairs departments or through events sponsored by our highly active student organizations.

Students can engage off campus through civic engagement and service learning opportunities as well as by simply taking full advantage of Mount Ida’s proximity to the City of Boston.  “Engage Boston” events including tickets to sporting, cultural and social events in the city are sponsored through the Center for Leadership & Civic Engagement.  Discounted movie tickets, passes to museums, and more can also be obtained through the CLCE (credit Melvyn here). Don’t let your four years at Mount Ida pass without connecting with Boston.

Services within the Division of Student Affairs are here throughout your journey at Mount Ida College, whether it be helping you to map out your career path, get you the health, counseling and disability service support you require, help you as you settle into the residence halls, connect you to a leadership opportunity or student organization, or get fit through our recreation and fitness opportunities. Be Mighty! By being engaged with the Mount Ida College community, you will find yourself to be more balanced, more successful and more connected to the campus.
