Accelerated Associate Degree Program
The Accelerated Track in Funeral Service has been designed for students who have completed a minimum of one year of successful college coursework. With this option, you are able to transfer in credits awarded at other accredited colleges as they relate to NEI’s curriculum. This enables you to earn your degree from one of the most prestigious programs in the country in a much shorter time frame than normal – often in as little as two days a week for two full-time semesters, and no summer commitment.
The curriculum has a professional focus that includes the role of the funeral director, funeral customs and rituals, embalming and related sciences, human social behavior, bereavement, and general business practices. You can enter the program in either the fall or spring semester.
