Join renowned animal care specialist and author Rebecca Rose, CVT for a discussion of the many career options and advancement opportunities that exist for working and aspiring veterinary technicians, including positions in general practice, specialty practice, industry, higher education, government and more. Drawing on her book Career Choices for Veterinary Technicians, Rebecca will explore the daily responsibilities, salaries, qualifications and pros and cons for a variety of careers for veterinary technicians, including veterinary technician specialties and how to become a veterinary technician specialist.

A book signing will take place immediately following the lecture.

This event is open to Mount Ida College students, faculty and staff as well as veterinary professionals. The event requires a $35 registration fee (free for all Mount Ida College community members).
