Interested in visiting Mount Ida College?
We encourage prospective students and their families to visit our beautiful 72-acre campus in Newton, Massachusetts. A campus visit is the best way to learn about the school and what it has to offer.
Campus Tours/Information Sessions
Campus tours and information sessions are held daily throughout the week:

Friday - 10:00 am

Students or families interested in visiting the campus on Saturdays should sign up for one of our Saturday Information Sessions.
Scheduled School Group Visits
During the fall and spring semesters, the Mount Ida College Success Academy offers "The Campus Experience" program. We provide middle and high school students with campus visit opportunities and educational workshops that will help prepare them as they start their college search. Our goal is to help students find the “right fit” as they explore the world of Higher Education. Group visits begin at 9am and end by 1pm. Throughout the day, students will have the chance to take part in a variety of activities, including:
- Admissions Presentation: Learn the “do’s and don’ts” about the application process.
- Peer Leader Workshop: Discuss the reality of balancing extracurricular activities with academic (conducted by the Balfour Peer Leaders).
- Lunch: Be our guests for lunch at the Wingate Dining Hall.
- Campus Tour: A student guide will walk you through the campus and show you the sights.
- Student Panel: Find out what college is really like…straight from our students!
