I would like to welcome each of you to Mount Ida College. We are an innovative, century-old institution that is in the forefront of career-based liberal arts education. Our purpose is to provide each student with the resources to learn and the tools to achieve their lifetime goals.
We are a small, closely knit community of students and educators, where faculty members are supportive and available to each of our students. We take pride in our diversity, as we do in the wide range of curricular, extracurricular and athletic programs that create an exciting college environment, a lifetime of friends and colleagues and a path to professional success.
Please join me on our beautiful 72-acre campus only eight miles from Boston, one of America's great centers of culture and the arts and the home to many colleges and universities. Experience our classes, meet our coaches at home games on our new, lighted turf field, engage in conversation with our faculty in the arts, humanities, business, design, fashion, dental and animal science—to name just a few.
