Christine Fontana, RDH, MEd became full-time at Mount Ida in August of 2011 after several years as an adjunct faculty member. In addition to Mount Ida, she has taught for the Forsyth/MCPHS Dental Hygiene Program and at Cape Cod Community College. She has also held positions as a Dental Hygienist with Dr. Steve Bader/Ultimate Aesthetics, Dr. George Salem III and Associates, and Rockland Dental Associates. She also works in the South Shore community as a Public Health Dental Hygienist, helping under-privileged children maintain oral-health. She received her M.Ed. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Cambridge College. She earned her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and A.S. from Cape Cod Community College. She is also Certified in Local Anesthesia.
