Mr. David Healy recently retired from his role as Vice President for Finance and Administration and Treasurer at Mount Ida College, which he began in April of 2003. He also served as Acting President/”Chief Operating Officer” during the President’s sabbatical of November-February 2005-06 and May-August 2008. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lawrence University. He has extensive experience in higher education finance and administration with more than thirty-five years experience in the industry, beginning his career at William and Mary and the University of Maryland-College Park. He has more than twenty-five years experience as a Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with seven years at Goucher College, eight years at Williams College and five years at Milton Academy in that position.

Mr. Healy is a leader in the field and has served on many boards, corporate and non-profit, and with many associations. Mr. Healy brings extensive experience in finance, budgeting, capital planning and construction management, technology, strategic planning, investments, organizational change, and human resource functions.

Mr. Healy also is an adjunct faculty member in the Mount Ida College’s School of Business teaching courses in finance and management. He has also served as baseball co-head coach for the College.

He is married to Denise Trucdiep Pham Healy and has three children.
