Gail Gabriel is a practicing attorney and mediator in MA. She began teaching at Mount Ida in 2009, has been an instructor at Tufts University Experimental College, Fisher and MassBay Community Colleges Paralegal Studies Programs, the Cambridge Police Academy, and the MA Continuing Legal Education, Inc. She is currently the Director of Mount Ida’s First Year Experience Task Force. She is formerly an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk, Middlesex and Plymouth Counties, Chief Counsel to the Division of Professional Licensure, and Legal Counsel to the Cambridge City Solicitor. She was also an Assistant Attorney General and a partner in the law firm of Keith, Reed, Wheatley and Frenette. She is a frequent guest lecturer at many colleges and universities, has conducted community outreach, education and training programs for the Attorney General, Commonwealth of MA, City of Cambridge, and many professional and trade organizations. She served on the Governor’s Legal Education Task Force for Government Lawyers and serves on the Boards of several nonprofit and educational organizations. She earned her J.D. at New England School of Law and B.A. in Government from Wheaton College.
