Formerly part of the cinematics department at 38 Studios, Eric has filled a variety of industry roles since graduating with honors from the Rochester Institute of Technology's School of Film & Animation. He has worked as a graphic artist for the WSTM (NBC-3), multimedia designer & lead animator for KoolConnect Technology's marketing department, staff artist/animator for Tom Snyder Productions, and Flash Animator for the Cambridge Interactive Development Corporation. In addition, Eric is an award winning animator – his RIT Thesis took 2nd prize in the 2006 Brattleboro Animation Festival, and he was a finalist in the 2009 Marvel Motion Comic contest (aniboom.com). Eric is also an accomplished freelance illustrator, with credits including Popular Communications Magazine, Eric Mower, Step One Creative, and the American Red Cross.
Eric's work and teaching reflect the desire to use the language of film to best tell stories visually. His Mount Ida teaching credentials include Digital Video Production, the History of Computer Animation, and Animation Pre/Post Production.
