Prior to joining Mount Ida, Dr. Tang held positions as Associate Professor of Finance at Bridgewater State College and Assistant Professor of Finance at Elizabethtown College. He has also served as a Senior Associate at State Street Corporation in Boston. Before that, he worked at Fleet Boston Financial Group (now Bank of America) as a Senior Quantitative and Analytics Consultant. Dr. Tang was also a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Massachusetts in Boston and taught classes at Temple University in Philadelphia.His research has been published in the Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Journal of International Business Strategy and other journals. He has presented research papers in several international conferences.
Dr. Tang holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Temple University. He has an MBA in International Finance and a BBA in Economics and International Trade from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.
