PROGRAM OFFERINGS

To achieve our goal, the National Center for Death Education (NCDE) offers on site and online continuing education programs on death and grief.

Online Courses
Take a course from the comfort of your home or office. Our online courses deliver a valuable learning opportunity in a flexible, interactive and easy-to-use format.

Summer Institute
The annual Summer Institute offers attendees valuable learning and networking opportunities.

Workshops
Workshops are a great way to learn and network. A variety of workshops, led by experts in the field of grief counseling and bereavement, are held throughout the academic year.

Teleconferences

Develop and improve your professional skills by participating in a teleconference. We take part in an annual teleconference that is hosted by the Hospice Foundation of America. 

Certificate in Thanatology
Supplement your academic or professional training with a Certificate of Thanatalogy. The courses and workshops taken through NCDE can lead to a Certificate of Thanatology.
