Welcome to the Board of Trustees Microsite

At Mount Ida College, the Board of Trustees have the ultimate responsibility for all financial, administrative, and academic affairs at the College. According to the Charter of the College, trustees have "…control of the Corporation and all of its property, and of the investment and appropriation of its funds, and shall have final responsibility in all matters of policy." The Board has the power to elect the President, Vice Presidents, and other upper-level administrative positions.

Other functions of the Board include the appointment of faculty members, the establishment of faculty salaries, and the awarding of degrees. The Board consists of 18 members, each of whom serves a three-year term.
