New England Institute (NEI) Professor Receives Distinguished Professional Service Award

Dr. Jacquelyn Taylor, Professor, New England Institute, was the sixth recipient of the Distinguished Professional Service Award at the Biennial International Embalming and Reconstructive Surgery Conference in Springfield, Missouri this summer. At the conference, the Fountain National Academy, an advance practice institution providing continuing education seminars in embalming and restorative art, recognized Professor Taylor for her distinguished service to the profession of embalming and for her dedication to the education of embalmers.
In addition to receiving the Distinguished Professional Service Award, Dr. Taylor was also a featured speaker at the conference. She was hand-picked as a speaker based on her dedication to instruction and knowledge of the field as a Licensed Professional Embalmer. Topics at the conference ranged from embalming in the real world to reconstructive techniques to equipment repair and maintenance.
