Student Gains Experience in Video Game Design This Summer

August 8, 2012

Game Art and Animation major, Daniel Cherkassky, along with other undergraduates from Massachusetts colleges and universities, is participating in a summer program to design video games. This state-sponsored summer program, offered by the Massachusetts Digital Games Institute, gives students the opportunity to translate their ideas into work experience. From developing games to networking with industry executives, aspiring game designers are trained to become the next generation of video game professionals. By the end of the summer, students walk away with the knowledge to build a career in digital game design, and establish connections within the field.
