	Newton Patch Features Mount Ida Students’ Win in Green Streets Initiative's MBTA Walk/Ride Day Poster Contest June 11, 2012 On June 9, 2012, The Newton Patch wrote about two Mount Ida College students who were chosen as winners in the Green Streets Initiative’s MBTA Walk/Ride Day Poster Contest. First place in the college/university category was awarded to Mount Ida student Matt Greil and Michelle Begley received second place in the same category. The Green Streets Initiative Contest looked for posters that advocate for the monthly walk/ride and “promote sustainable, car-free transportation choices in the Boston area.” The winning designs are displayed on the MBTA trains and buses.
