Alumni Return Home to Mustang City:
Reunion Weekend 2012
May 9, 2012
Alumni shared their Mount Ida memories at the Golden Bridges Brunch on May 5
Exploring Boston
To kick off Reunion Weekend, alumni met at the Harpoon Brewery in Boston on Friday evening. At the event, alumni caught up with classmates and received an up-close view of the brewing process. Following the tour, the brewery was filled with hearty laughter and lively conversation as alumni enjoyed freshly-brewed beers.
Work and Play
Bright and early, on Saturday morning, alumni met in the Athletic Center for check-in, a career and networking information session, and graduate education information session. These events gave everyone the chance to update one another about their careers and education. For those alumni who wanted to catch up over food, a Golden Bridges Brunch was prepared for the classes of 1987, 1962, and prior. After brunch, a variety of sports games were offered, including volleyball, flag football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and softball.
Food, Fashion and Fun
Saturday afternoon, alumni participated in a more leisurely schedule of events, complete with a barbeque, campus tour, art exhibition, and “meet the beagles” open house at the School of Animal Science. Before the night was out, many fellow Mustangs attended the Annual Fashion Show, “Pulse” at the Boston Center for the Arts or visited The Baseball Tavern for the Alumni Reception.
