Newton, MA – Mount Ida College is pleased to invite fashionistas everywhere to an interactive lecture with Marissa Evans, the fashion entrepreneur and founder of the online fashion go-to source Go Try It On, on November 29, 2011. Free and open to the general public, the event is from 2:30pm to 3:30pm at Mount Ida College’s Carlson Hall Auditorium. Ms. Evans will give an interactive demonstration of how www.gotryiton.com works and share her journey as a fashion entrepreneur and founder of a New York start-up company. The event will be hosted by Professor Roberta Steinberg and students of Mount Ida College and include a question and answer period.
About Marissa Evans
A native of Weston, Massachusetts, Marissa Evans founded Go Try It On, the social style network in March 2010. The fashion advice website invites members to post a photo of themselves in an outfit and receive immediate feedback from other members. Designed to be a dynamic social environment, reviewers also can be voted up if their advice is useful. Members can select which friends see their posts. Evans has diverse years of marketing experience working for both large companies and small entrepreneurial companies.
