Newton, MA – Mount Ida College is pleased to invite fashionistas everywhere to an interactive lecture with Marissa Evans, the fashion entrepreneur and founder of the online fashion go-to source Go Try It On, on November 29, 2011. Free and open to the general public, the event is from 2:30pm to 3:30pm at Mount Ida College’s Carlson Hall Auditorium. Ms. Evans will give an interactive demonstration of how www.gotryiton.com works and share her journey as a fashion entrepreneur and founder of a New York start-up company. The event will be hosted by Professor Roberta Steinberg and students of Mount Ida College and include a question and answer period.
About Marissa Evans
A native of Weston, Massachusetts, Marissa Evans founded Go Try It On, the social style network in March 2010. The fashion advice website invites members to post a photo of themselves in an outfit and receive immediate feedback from other members. Designed to be a dynamic social environment, reviewers also can be voted up if their advice is useful. Members can select which friends see their posts.
