Newton, MA—Mount Ida College’s Greg Antonelli has been named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Sport Information Director of the Year, as voted on by the sports information directors within the Conference. Antonelli received the award from GNAC Commissioner Joe Walsh this summer at Norwich University at the annual Conference meeting. Antonelli begins his fifth year serving as Director of Sports Information at Mount Ida College.
Greg Antonelli stated, “I am honored to receive this award and feel very lucky to be a part of Mount Ida College as well as a member of an incredible team of dedicated people that make up Mount Ida's Athletics Department.”
Antonelli oversees and covers the sports information operation of Mount Ida College's 15 varsity sports, 13 NCAA Division III varsity sports, including development and maintenance of the department's athletic website. Over the years, Antonelli has enhanced the Athletics Department’s website, including design refreshes and new content, such as video and highlight reels.
