Newton, MA -- At Mount Ida College, we encourage students to take advantage of our international program offerings.  Keeping in line with our mission of blending professional preparation with a solid liberal arts foundation, we believe that a study abroad experience benefits our students in many ways, from gaining new perspectives and experiences to improving their professional and financial potential after graduation.

Global Mind-Set and Experience
Mount Ida’s international program offerings are as diverse as our students, and this fall semester is no exception.   We have nearly a dozen students participating in study abroad programs in countries, including Costa Rica, Chile, England, Australia and Italy. In addition to their classroom experience, our students will be working in internships, volunteering in local communities and art museums and engaging in new fields, like ecotourism.

Fall Study Abroad Fair
On Monday, September 12, 2011, Mount Ida’s Offices of International Student Affairs and Academic Affairs are hosting our annual Fall Study Abroad Fair.  The Fair is open to Mount Ida students interested in learning more about opportunities and requirements to study abroad.  Representatives from reputable international programs will be in attendance, including the American Institute for Foreign Study, Academic Programs International, American International University and Semester at Sea, as well as The Education Abroad Network.
