The Gallery at Mount Ida College Presents the Upcoming Exhibition: “Guise: The Art of Costuming”, Aleta May Deyo, Curator

Mark your calendar to attend the upcoming fall exhibition, “Guise: The Art of Costuming” from September 13 – October 16, 2011.  “Guise” is an exhibition show casing the work of contemporary costumers working in the New England area. The process of costuming is revealed through illustrations, garments, process notebooks and videos of the theatrical productions the costumes were designed for. 

 

About the Curator

Aleta May Deyo, Assistant Professor in Fashion Design in The School of Design at Mount Ida College, is also a practicing freelance costume designer specializing in Children’s Theatre and was previously the Costume Shop Manager for the Boston Conservatory.
