	Mount Ida College's Green Initiative Sustainability is a critical issue in today's society and a top priority at Mount Ida College. As part of the College's Master Plan to "implement Green technologies as appropriate in all new and renovated campus buildings," the College's Strategic Plan FY 2008-2012 calls for the College community "to practice, educate, and encourage Green approaches for campus programs and issues on a continual basis." There are a number of initiatives that the College is engaged in to reduce its energy consumption and the impact on the environment.
