Pre-Professional Options
Pre-Dental Hygiene
Students entering college directly from high school and others wishing to prepare for possible admission to the Dental Hygiene program may be given the option to enroll as a full-time student in the Pre-Dental Hygiene program. This enables students to complete the prerequisites for consideration for admission to, and selected general education courses in, the Dental Hygiene program.
Pre-Law
Mount Ida College is prepared to assist those students wishing to pursue a career as a lawyer. Students will choose the majors that interest them (a broad liberal arts major is preferred by most law schools), but those indicating an interest in law school will be assigned to a pre-law advisor.
