» Football Team to Compete in Inaugural ECFC Championship Game
(11/12/09) The Mount Ida College football team has gained a berth into the inaugural Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) Championship game on Saturday, November 14. The Mustangs will play top-seeded Norwich University at 12:30 p.m. in Northfield, Vermont. 

» President Matteson Receives Harvard Club Award
(11/06/09) The Harvard Club of Boston has named Dr. Carol J. Matteson, president of Mount Ida College, a recipient of this year's "Friends of Education Award." The Harvard Prize Book Committee selected Dr. Matteson for this award, which was presentd at the annual Prize Book Breakfast.

» Chris Kittell '09 to Exhibit Designs at Natick Collection's 'Form to Fashion' Event
(11/03/09) Chris Kittell '09 will unveil a signature piece from his senior design collection, a Victorian-inspired dress, at Natick Collection's Form to Fashion Grand Finale event held on Thursday, November 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Infinity Pool Court.

» Men's Lacrosse Team Collects Toys for Tots
(11/02/09) Adding community service to its profile, the Mount Ida College men's lacrosse team participated in the first Toys for Tots Fall Classic, held in Throgs Neck, New York on October 17. This fall ball scrimmage was hosted by the SUNY Maritime men's lacrosse team and featured our own Mustangs squaring off against the Mercy College Privateers.

» Elena Sanders, Recent Mount Ida Graduate, Featured in Fashion Week 
(10/23/09) Gas masks, rusty gears, aviator goggles, and clock parts on the runway? As long as you know what you're doing, why not? Up-and-coming fashion designer Elena Sanders, who graduated from Mount Ida College in May 2009, definitely knows what she's doing, and the display of her designs as part of Boston's Fashion Week was a validation of her talent and unique vision.
