• How do I make a payment?

There are different ways you can make a payment. 


1. Send a check payment directly to the Student Accounts Office made payable to Mount Ida College.

2. Call and use a MasterCard, Visa, or Discover card to pay by phone. 


3. Wire a payment

4. Use a credit card online through Tuition Management Systems.

5. Cash, check or credit card payments can be made in person in the Student Accounts Office.

 

• When is the bill due?

Every year, fall semester payments are always due on August 1st and spring semester payments are always due January 1st, prior to the start of each semester.

 

• What is my student ID number, and where can I find it?

Your student ID number is assigned to you by the college. You can find it at on the top third of your student statement, or on your MiWeb account. 

 

• Why can’t I move into the residence halls?

Students may not move onto campus until they are financially cleared by the Student Accounts Office.

 

• Why can’t I register for classes?

Students may not register for classes until they are financially cleared by the Student Accounts Office.

 

• Why can’t I start going to my classes?

Students may not participate in classes until they are financially cleared by the Student Accounts Office.

 

• Why can’t I see my classes and grades online?

Students will not be able to see their classes or grades on their MiWeb account until they are financially cleared by the Student Accounts Office.

 

• Why is the insurance still on my statement if I’ve waived it?

The charge for insurance will be posted on all full time student statements until it has been waived. This charge will be credited to your account after stabilization. Please check to see if there is an amount listed in the credit column of the statement, if so, this means that the charge has been removed from your account.

 

• When will I get my refund, and why can’t I pick it up in the office?

All loans, scholarships, awards and other forms of pending aid are not disbursed to the college until after the stabilization period ends. After stabilization, aid is disbursed at various times over the semester. Once the aid has been posted to your account, if there is a credit on the account, a refund request is processed. A check will be mailed to your billing address with in two weeks time. Students are not allowed to pick up checks in the office.

 

• How can I check my bill online so I don’t have to wait for a statement in the mail?

Students can simply log on to their MiWeb account and view their statement. Once you are logged into your MiWeb account, look to the left hand side of the page and click the “billing statement” link. Change the balance forward date to show account details.  

 

• Why can’t I get a copy my transcripts?

In order to get copies of your transcripts, your account balance must be zero.
