Game Art and Animation Render Farm

Game Art and Animation students have access to a dedicated render farm, a cluster of high-end Hewlett-Packard PCs that work together to rapidly generate student animations. Featuring a private gigabit Ethernet network, 26 cores of processing, and full 64-bit operation, this farm is configured with industry-tested render management software. Students submit jobs directly from their laptops to a queuing server, which in turn "farms" out the task to all of the processors at once, allowing for quicker results and the freedom to produce more complex and sophisticated animations.
