Veterinary Technology Animal Adoption Program

The Mount Ida College Veterinary Technology Program has Beagles, Cats, Rabbits, Rats, Hamsters, Mice and Chickens, that are used to teach the Veterinary Technology Students. The animals are cared for and trained by the students, then become available for adoption at the end of the spring semester.

If you are interested in adopting an animal, you may make an appointment to come and see the animals starting the end of March.  Animals are not available to leave the campus until the second week of May.

A non-refundable fee will hold any animal until the new owners are contacted to come and pick up their new companion. The adoption fee goes towards a Scholarship for our Vet Tech Students.

Please check back at the end of March 2014 to see a list of animals available for adoption!!
