Most of our programs require students participate in an internship. This on-the-job experience gives you opportunities to further strengthen your skills, gain confidence and learn how to better navigate an organization and the job market.   

In addition, our All-College Curriculum integrates your professional preparation with the Liberal Arts. This multidisciplinary learning approach strengthens and further develops important skills, such as  critical thinking and communication skills, creative problem solving, and more.

There are many 
clubs/activities for students to get involved, including drama club, honor societies, Division III athletics, student government, community service opportunities, in addition to student activities, such as guest lecturers, art exhibits, movie nights, concerts, and dances.

Mount Ida Collegge offers bachelor degrees, minors, associate degrees, and now graduate programs.  With more than 25 areas of undergraduate study offered through the
School of Animal Science, School of Arts and Science, School of Business, School of Design, and New England Institute (NEI). Our programs are designed to reflect the demands of the job marketplace, while encompassing the liberal arts.

Athletics at Mount Ida College is an integral part of the student experience. As an NCAA Division III school, Mount Ida offers varsity athletic competition in a variety of sports. Having a small student body, our athletes get the same personal attention on the playing field as they do in class.  In addition to varsity programs, we offer intramural programs, club sports, and other fitness options.
