Game Art and Animation
Mount Ida College’s Game Art and Animation major prepares students for work as artists, animators, and video game developers. Students take a core series of classes which allows them to build the visual, conceptual, and technical skills necessary to create and animate visual assets for three dimensional video games. Attention is given to the various sub-specialties within Game Art and Animation, including modeling, character animation, texturing, special effects, and technical art. By the Senior Year, students will begin to focus on one or two of these areas, which will serve as the emphasis for their capstone project.
