Support Policy for Res Hall Network Users
Mount Idas Network Services Department will provide support and assistance to students in installing and configuring their Network Interface Card so that it can communicate with the College Data Network. Network Services does not install or sell NIC cards or network cables.
Mount Idas Network Services Department will be unable to provide support for hardware or software problems related to your computer and other peripheral equipment. If there is a problem with the network jack in your room, the Network Services Department will investigate the issue. If there is damage to the network jack or the cabling in the wall, the College may bill back to the student(s) of the room the cost of repairing/replacing the jack.
