Distinguished Alumna in Business:Ana Iza Otis - Vice president of television and film for the Clyde Otis Music Group in Manhattan, Ana graduated with an associate degree in graphic design. In her current role, she oversees synchronization and licensing for the company, which owns over 4,000 copyrights.

Distinguished Alumna in Design:Kirsten K. Brown - A graphic design graduate, Kirsten is the program coordinator of Pathway Partners, an Americorps project. She and her team won grand prize honors of the Maine 2001 Fleet Allstars Award for an annual report document she wrote and designed.

Distinguished Alumna in Liberal Arts, Humanities, Education:Marlene DeChane - A health and fitness graduate, Merle has served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives since 1994. She champions social, economic and political issues for all citizens and serves on the Public Works & Highways Committee.

Distinguished Alumnus in Funeral Service and Bereavement StudiesDouglas Bibber - Graduating with a degree in funeral service, Douglas is the funeral director and embalmer for his familys business the Bibber Memorial Chapel. He recently served as the president of the Maine Funeral Directors Association, the fourth generation Bibber family member to hold this position.

Distinguished Alumna in Science, Animal Science, Allied HealthDyan deNapoli - Dyan graduated with a bachelor degree in veterinary technology. As an aquarist and penguin expert at the New England Aquarium, Dyan was recently chosen to travel to South Africa to assist in saving 20,000 penguins harmed by an oil tanker spill.

Alumna of the YearWendy Brown - Wendy Brown graduated with a degree in business administration. Today, she is the director of stores and operations for Anthropologie, a division of Urban Outfitters. In addition to overseeing staffing, training and budgeting, Wendy is also responsible for managing virtually all areas of the retail business including product selection, merchandising, creative and visual direction and distribution.
