20 U.S.C. 1092 I
The Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act as amended on October 28, 2000 requires all sex offenders who must register under state law to provide notice of enrollment or employment at any institute of higher education.
The law also mandates that institutions of higher education must advise all members of the campus community as to where information concerning registered sex offenders can be obtained.
Therefore in compliance with this Act the following information is provided to the Mount Ida College Community.
Members of the community may obtain registered sex offender information as it relates to the above Act by requesting such information in writing on a form provided by the state, which must be presented in person by the requesting party at the Detective Bureau of the Newton Police Department located at 1321 Washington Street, Newton, MA 02165.
