Patrick Romero-Aldaz joined Mount Ida in the fall of 2013 and has built upon his almost two decades of experience in higher education to advance involvement, community and pride in Mustang City. Over his career, Patrick has worked in the following areas: student organizations, fraternity & sorority life, risk management, leadership development, social justice & inclusion, civic engagement, orientation and transition programs, commencement, and campus center management.

Patrick oversees the Mustang Involvement Center and works with the team to create engagement experiences that will connect, transform, and empower students. Also serving as Advisor to the Campus Activities Board and the Associated Student Government, Patrick works closely with students to advocate and enhance their experience at Mount Ida.

Patrick supports student success by asking tough questions and by supporting students as they find the answers for themselves. “The process of discovery is important to student learning and I work to make sure students don’t skip that part.”

Patrick is actively involved in his Fraternity, Delta Tau Delta, and also makes time to volunteer with professional associations, most currently serving on the 2018 Convention Steering Team for ACPA-College
