Jacky Reif

Assistant Men's and Women's Volleyball Coach

Jacky Reif joined head coach Craig Martin in 2012, assisting with the development of the Mount Ida College men’s and women’s volleyball programs. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Reif now resides in Boston.
Reif, an adamant volleyball player himself, has competed in the USAV adults national tournaments every year since 2006, in both the men’s and co-ed divisions. He notched a win and all-tournament recognition in 2012 in the regular co-ed competition. He has also regularly participates in regional adult volleyball tournaments (Yankee Volleyball, New England) since 2005.
Reif graduated from Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering. Then, while working in the medical device field, he went on to earn his Masters of Science degree from Brandeis University in the field of Neuroscience. He now works as a software contractor and is considering adding teaching to his resume soon.
