Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach

Erin Mossop joined the Mount Ida College women’s lacrosse coaching staff as an assistant coach, beginning in the 2017 season.

A native of Albany, N.Y., Mossop is the head coach of the Tomahawks youth lacrosse program in Boston. She graduated from Siena College with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.

Mossop was a starting midfielder for the Division 1 Saints for her two years there after transferring in from Robert Morris University, another Division 1 program.

While at Siena, Mossop appeared in 35 games, scoring 62 goals and dishing out 35 assists while collecting 47 ground balls and 49 draw controls and causing 29 turnovers.In her final season as a Saint, Mossop tied a program record with seven goals in a 20-5 win over Central Connecticut.

While at Robert Morris, Mossop was named to the 2012 Northeast Conference (NEC) All-Rookie Team. She was a three-time NEC Rookie of the Week, and tallied 20 goals and 24 points in 11 games for the Colonials that year.
