Professor Liang Tang finds the globalization of financial markets and technological financial innovations as the most exciting aspects of his field.
He has served as a Senior Associate at State Street Corporation in Boston and at Fleet Boston Financial Group (now Bank of America) as a Senior Quantitative and Analytics Consultant.
His higher education experience includes Associate Professor of Finance at Bridgewater State College and Assistant Professor of Finance at Elizabethtown College. Tang was also a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance at UMass Boston and taught classes at Boston University, Suffolk University and Temple University.
Professor Tang’s research has been published in the “Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting,” “Journal of International Business Strategy” and other journals.
He has presented research papers at several international conferences and has been invited to hold seminars at the Renmin University of China, Central University of Finance and Economics, Hunan University and Xihua University.
He is a member of Financial Management Association (FMA) and The Chinese Finance Association (TCFA) and teaches Corporate Finance, Managerial Accounting and Global Business.
