Professor Archambault brings his real world experiences to the classroom every day. In teaching such courses as merchandise planning, importing and exporting of fashion products, advertising principles, consumer behavior and small business management, he shares his perspective as a commissioned salesperson for a major retailer, store manager and retail buyer.
“Retailing is the most important method of product distribution in the world. No matter how great a product is, it needs the retailer to get the product or service to the consumer and the end user.” His students learn how to physically and virtually create awareness, knowledge and the desire to entice people to purchase products in the supply chain. And, armed with those skills, he says, “it will always be a viable career option for talented people.”
Archambault is the recipient of awards for increased sales productivity and net profit percentages as a manager. He was installed in the Beta Gamma Sigma Business society in 2008 after earning his Doctor of Business Administration degree. He has presented and published papers at conferences around the globe and was the recipient of the Lettieri Teaching Award in 2011, presented by Mount Ida College as the highest recognition of teaching excellence.
