Campus Activities Board

Building Community at Mount Ida

Campus Activities Board creates memorable extra-curricular experiences that enhance personal growth, social engagement, and Mustang pride. Be part of CAB!

Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student-run organization dedicated to bringing quality programming including; concerts, comedians, movies, and other special events to Mount Ida College. You can join CAB to help develop new programs and traditions, or participate as part of a large event tech crew.  As a student-run organization, your ideas are important to bring a variety of programs to the College.

Executive Board
The CAB Executive Board, or E-Board, consists of all leadership positions and event coordinators.  The E-Board is responsible for organizing meetings with the General Board, assisting coordinators at events, providing input for  CAB events, and representing CAB at all events.   E-Board members collaborate to assist each other in all aspects of event programing including ticket sales and running concert, comedy or movie events.

General Board
The CAB General Board, or Gen Board, supports the Executive Board by attending meetings, assisting at events and providing input on upcoming CAB events. Gen Board meetings are open to all Mount Ida students and are held every other Thursday at 9:00 pm in the Campus Center Oak Hill Room.

To become an official member, students are required to attend three consecutive Gen Board meetings and assist three different event coordinators at their events.  In addition they are expected to help distribute publicity material.  Contact the Campus Activities Board to learn more about CAB at cab@mountida.edu or stop by the Mustang Involvement Center in the Campus Center 2nd Floor.
