Student Health Insurance Plan
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires all full-time and three-quarter-time students to be enrolled in a qualifying student health insurance plan. This may be in the form of the student’s own qualifying health insurance plan, or the qualifying health insurance plan offered through Mount Ida College. Students must either purchase the school sponsored health plan or show proof of comparable coverage in an alternate US based health insurance plan.
All full-time and three-quarter-time students are automatically enrolled in, and charged for, the Mount Ida College Student Health Insurance Plan. An insurance card will be provided to students at the start of the academic year.
NOTE: If you do not wish to be enrolled you must waive the Student Health Insurance at www.gallagherkoster.com/mountida each year.
The Mount Ida College Student Health Insurance Plan is administered by Gallagher Koster Insurance Agency, Inc. and underwritten by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.
