Our Commitment to Student Success is a Commitment to Students’ Mental Health and Wellness

The Counseling Center provides on-campus individual and group counseling, as well as educational programs, aimed at helping students develop coping skills for life’s stressors. The Counseling Center can consult with faculty and staff regarding students’ concerns and can also arrange referrals to mental health professionals off-campus, as necessary. Counseling Center services are available to all students and are confidential.

The Center is staffed by a Director, a team of Master’s-level licensed mental health counselors, a consulting psychiatrist, and two doctoral-level psychology interns. Located in Appleton House with Student Health Services and adjacent to the Hallden Center, housing our Academic Services team, Counseling Center staff work closely with both teams to provide services supporting students’ minds, bodies, agency, and spirits.
