- Text message
Community members must register for emergency telephone “reverse 911” and text messaging notifications. This may be done by clicking here.

Timely Warning Notifications
If there is a situation on or off-campus that the Department of Public Safety deems an ongoing or continuing threat, then Mount Ida will issue a college-wide timely warning. Timely warning is a component of the Clery Act that mandates Mount Ida will inform the community of any potential threats in the immediate area. Examples of situations may include robberies nearby, a sexual assault or any other serious event where a risk still remains to the community. This communication will be done in a variety of ways. Public Safety may use a variety of channels to issue the timely warning notification, including the emergency notification system, flyers and email. View the most recent community advisory here.
If you have information that may warrant a timely warning notification, please contact Public Safety at (617) 928-4777 or at email@example.com.
