Mount Ida College fashion design alumna Kelly Gustafson ’14 is one of several Boston area designers featured in the Boston Herald as an up-and-coming designer to watch.
Gustafson was spotlighted for her menswear collection by fashion writer Erica Corsano, who also served as a judge at the 2014 Mount Ida Fashion Show Exposed in Boston. Corsano noted that Gustafson’s take on menswear, inspired by the likes of “Rick Owens and Japanese brands,” made a memorable impression at its premiere during the fashion show.
“It’s rare to find young menswear designers who turn heads with their work,” writes Corsano.
