You must see our beautiful campus for yourself. Here, we offer a safe, fun, supportive and friendly community for you to transform your college experience into a rock-solid foundation for success – in your career and in your life. Mount Ida provides a small, private New England college experience and our convenient location in Newton, Massachusetts, just eight miles from Boston, makes it easy to get here. People visit campus and love it. You will too.

We’ve put helpful driving directions and public transportation directions in one place to help you find our campus.

Campus visit options

We know that you and your family have very busy schedules. That’s why we have designed a visit program with many different options.

If you require ADA accommodations, please contact before your visit.

Weekday campus tours. You can also take one of our regularly scheduled campus tours during the week. During the school year, we offer tours at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Fall Open House. Every fall we host an open house and welcome high school students interested to learn more about Mount Ida College. To help better accommodate our guests, we have decided to host the event on two separate dates this year; September 26, 2015 and October 24, 2015. Attending on either date is an excellent chance for you and your family to meet faculty and current students, as well as tour campus and residence halls. There will also be opportunities to learn more about our NCAA Division III athletic teams, our many student clubs, and everything else that makes Mount Ida College such a special place. You can reserve your spot here.

Weekend information sessions. Throughout the year, we also host information sessions one Saturday per month, which include an admissions presentation, a campus tour and an opportunity to meet some of our select professors. If you are a student athlete, a number of these Saturday sessions are set aside for you to get to know more about our athletics programs, in addition to our career-focused degrees. You may see a list of our weekend information sessions and reserve your spot here.

Small group meeting and tour with an admissions counselor. If you find our regular tours and events don’t work for you, we encourage you to schedule a small group tour with us. One of our admissions experts would be happy to provide a personalized introduction to what Mount Ida can offer you, then you can take a tour of the campus that focuses on your areas of interest. Please email Admissions to schedule an appointment here.
