Campus visit options
We know that you and your family have very busy schedules. That’s why we have designed a visit program with many different options.
Weekday campus tours. You can also take one of our regularly scheduled campus tours during the week. During the school year, we offer tours Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sign up for a weekday campus tour here.
Weekend information sessions. Throughout the year, we also host information sessions one Saturday per month, which include an admissions presentation, a campus tour and an opportunity to meet some of our select professors. If you are a student athlete, a number of these Saturday sessions are set aside for you to get to know more about our athletics programs, in addition to our career-focused degrees. You may see a list of our weekend information sessions and reserve your spot here.
Junior Open House. Mount Ida College welcomes high school juniors and sophomores to join us at our upcoming Junior Open House on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. The Junior Open House is a chance for you to begin exploring colleges, and learn more about Mount Ida College and all of the exciting things we have to offer. You will be able to meet faculty, enjoy a tour of the campus, hear from current students, and talk to an admissions counselor. Please register for Junior Open House here.
Instant Decision Days. The College selects specific days to provide students with an opportunity to receive an admission decision that same day. In order to be considered for admission, students must have all of their admissions file requirements submitted prior to or on that day, including the completed application, all transcripts (high school for incoming freshmen and college for transfer students), a personal essay, 2 letters of reference, and SAT or ACT scores (incoming freshmen only). Students drop off all of their admissions file requirements at the beginning of the day, receive a campus tour and presentation, and are informed of the admission decision by the time they leave campus. Reserve your spot for the next Instant Decision Day here.
Small group meeting and tour with an admissions counselor. If you find our regular tours and events don’t work for you, we encourage you to schedule a small group tour with us. One of our admissions experts would be happy to provide a personalized introduction to what Mount Ida can offer you, then you can take a tour of the campus that focuses on your areas of interest. Please email Admissions to schedule an appointment here.
