One thing I love about Mount Ida:

“I thoroughly enjoy the sense of community at Mount Ida. Everyone here is so friendly and it gives the campus a very family-oriented feel. From faculty to staff to the student body, we’re all working collaboratively to make campus feel like a home away from home for every student here.”

My advice if you are interested in Mount Ida:

“I’m always telling students to visit campus for one of our daily tours or special admissions events. Once you step foot on campus and take a look around, you’ll start to feel if it’s the right fit for you. Hearing not only from our Admissions staff, but from our industry-experienced faculty members, will give you a good sense of the quality hands-on education you’ll receive here at Mount Ida.”

My favorite thing to do outside of work:

“Outside of work, you’ll typically find me enjoying the outdoors or teaching or taking a yoga class. In the warmer months, I enjoy sitting in the grass on the Esplanade, soaking up the views and enjoying a good book. During baseball season, you’ll likely find me enjoying a Red Sox game at Fenway Park.”

One thing I love about Mount Ida:

“There are so many wonderful things about Mount Ida College, but on a day-to-day basis, what I personally enjoy most is the sense of community.  Everyone on campus –  students, faculty and  staff – are so friendly.  There is a tremendous sense of pride about being part of Mount Ida, and you really do feel that here on campus.”

My advice if you are interested in Mount Ida:

“Choose a college that is the right fit for you. Selecting a college is not a prize to be won, but a match to be made. Mount Ida’s focus on career preparation and career exploration provides real benefits to students– our job placement rate is almost double the national average.  Mount Ida students also enjoy success because they selected a college that was right for them. The culture, the environment, the size of the school and the community are all important factors in determining college success.”

My favorite thing to do outside of work:

“As someone who not only works in Newton, but lives here too, I enjoy taking advantage of many of the fun things to do in the area.  Hiking in one of Newton’s many parks, kayaking on the Charles River (which runs right through Newton), or heading into nearby Boston for dinner, theater or a Red Sox game are some of my favorite activities.”

One thing I love about Mount Ida:

“I enjoy working at Mount Ida because of its warm, friendly community. The staff and faculty understand the importance of higher education and are invested in helping students find their career paths.”

My advice if you are interested in Mount Ida:

“As an alumna of the College, I would encourage any student who is looking for a small New England college with a focus on career preparation to consider Mount Ida.  As a student coming from a small town and high school, I was looking for individual attention from professors and help determining my career interests which is what I experienced at Mount Ida.  If students are looking for a place to become the best versions of themselves, then Mount Ida may be the best place to spend the next four years.”

My favorite thing to do outside of work:

“Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with friends, family and my cat, Noodle.”

One thing I love about Mount Ida:

“I love that Mount Ida faculty and staff really get to have hands-on-experiences with the students.  Whether it is helping them find an internship, pointing them in the right direction with a class, or just taking a minute to sit down and talk about how things are going, being a small school fosters a strong sense of community.”

My advice if you are interested in Mount Ida College:

“If you get your application in early and send in your supplementary documents quickly, we can get you a decision within about a week’s time! Our goal is to get you your admission decision as quickly as possible, so you don’t have to spend any more time than necessary waiting. Also, make sure you proofread your essay, so that by the time it reaches our admissions counselors, it’s a polished, finished product that conveys your meaning clearly.”

My favorite thing to do outside of work:

“When the weather is nice I like to be outside on the water rowing, sailing and water skiing. During the winter, you’ll most likely find me in a coffee shop with friends or a book.”

One thing I love about Mount Ida:
