Master of Science in Management (MSM) provides the practical skills and theoretical concepts you need to become an effective manager in a professional setting.

We offer small class sizes that are taught by industry-expert faculty, and feature real-world case studies that help deepen critical thinking skills. You can focus your learning in the MSM program by choosing one of five concentrations: Management, Healthcare Management, Human Resource Management, Leadership in Sport, and Interior Architecture. The MSM program will not only give you a credential that will help jumpstart or further your career, it will also give strong business and management fundamentals that employers look for.

Please note, if you are an international student, you can only apply to the Management concentration.




In addition to completing the Online Application, you are required to submit the following materials for admission:

1. Official Transcript(s)

2. Two Letters of Recommendation

3. Statement of Purpose

4. Resume

**GRE/GMAT scores are not required

The cost per credit is $595. The cost for Mount Ida College alumni is $545. The MSM degree is 36 credits.

Financial Aid in the form of federal loans is available to graduate students taking at least 6 credits per semester. To be considered for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Mount Ida College’s is 002193.

MSM faculty have a combination of professional work experience and the required academic credentials to teach at the graduate level. We believe that our faculty bring real world experience into the classroom that allows for meaningful discussion and experiential learning. Faculty members in the MSM program have worked at small, medium, and large companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Saucony, State Street Corporation, Microsoft, and more. All courses in the MSM program are offered in 7 week sessions. Courses are offered in a hybrid format that require students to meet once on a weekday evening from 6pm – 9:15pm. Coursework outside of the classroom will be conducted online via Canvas.

Part-time (recommended) graduate students will complete the program two years. Full-time students can complete the program in one year.

You are an international applicant if you are not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States. Please note, international students can only apply to the Management concentration. International applicants need to:

International applicants who are admitted will receive the Form I-20, which is required to apply for an F-I Student Visa. To complete your I-20 application, you must submit a:

  • Declaration of Finances
  • Bank Statement showing $36,000
