Estimated Cost of Attendance (COA)

Your financial aid eligibility is determined by taking your Cost of Attendance (COA) for the academic year minus your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) – results of filing the FAFSA.  Your COA is comprised of your direct, billed costs for tuition and fees and if applicable, room and board.  Additionally, you incur related education expenses for which you are not billed such as books and supplies, transportation costs, etc.  The combination of your direct and indirect costs equal your cost of attendance.  You may request that your total COA be increased based upon certain types of expenses you have.  You will be asked to provide documentation of your expenses before your total COA can be increased.  If you have expenses that you would like added to your cost, please contact our office to determine if they are allowed and what supporting documentation will need to be submitted.

Direct costs appear on a student’s bill, while indirect costs vary according to individual needs and program of study.

Transportation $800 $1,000
Other educational expenses$1,272 $1,272
Room & Board Allowance $13,920 $8,400
