Apply to Mount Ida – career-focused, caring and united in preparing you for success

Thank you for your interest in Mount Ida College. We designed our application process to be as straightforward as possible. Our rolling admissions policy means we review admissions applications and accept students throughout the year. Please note, however, that some of our programs do set enrollment limits, with early applicants given priority consideration. To secure your seat in your first-choice major for fall enrollment, we typically suggest you apply as early as possible. Most students complete their application between October and February.

Our attentive admissions team is ready to assist you, if you have questions along the way. No admission or application question is too big or too small. No college admissions situation is too complicated to unravel. We’re here to help. In fact, once you submit your application to us, you will be assigned your own personal admissions counselor who will help you keep track of the admissions process and required documents.

If you are a high school student applying as a freshman, a college student applying as a transfer student or an international student, click one of the application links to learn more about your application and other admission requirements.

School of Design Students

Mount Ida College requires a portfolio from students looking to enter the following programs: Animation, Commercial Photography, Digital Visualization, Fashion Design, Fashion Industry Marketing & Management, Game Art, Graphic Design, Interactive Media, and Interior Architecture & Design.  Students are encouraged to submit a portfolio electronically through our free online resource here.  If a student would like help in preparing a portfolio, we offer free assistance and guidance for any applicant.  Simply contact your admissions counselor for more details.  It is strongly encouraged that students do not wait to submit their application and transcripts while they are preparing a portfolio.  Submitting your application for admission, even without your portfolio, will make available to you resources that can support your candidacy.
