Three Degree Options

Dental Hygiene – Associate of Science Degree

The Associate’s Degree is a “1 plus 2” program, requiring three years of study, one year of Pre-Dental Hygiene Prerequisites and two years full-time to earn the Associate’s Degree. Students learn through didactic, laboratory and clinical experiences in all aspects of dental hygiene in our state-of-the-art Dental Education Center and Community Dental Clinic.   Mount Ida College is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).

Dental Hygiene – Bachelor Degree Completion (one to five years)

The Dental Hygiene Bachelor’s Degree Completion Program is designed for dental hygienists who have already earned an Associate’s degree from a CODA-accredited dental hygiene program and who desire to pursue a Bachelor’s degree.  Courses are offered online, on-campus, or in a hybrid format, both full and part-time.

 

Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene

The Bachelor of Science Degree is a “1 plus 2 plus 1” program, requiring four years of study, comprised of one year of Pre-Dental Hygiene prerequisites and three years of full-time study to earn the Bachelor’s Degree.

Students learn through didactic, laboratory and clinical experiences in all aspects of dental hygiene in our state-of-the-art Dental Education Center and Community Dental Clinic. Mount Ida College’s Dental Hygiene program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
